Brick Stitch Class by Anne Jackson
Many of our customers have asked about the beading technique of Brick Stitch
so a basic techniques class for Brick Stitch has been schedule for May 10,
2008 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., taught by Anne Jackson.
The class will cover the basics of Brick Stitch, including the basic
"ladder" to begin brick stitch, flat brick stitch, tubular brick stitch, and
increasing and decreasing on the outside edge of the piece. We won't focus
on a project for this class, but will instead make samples of the different
techniques. This class will give the student a basic understanding of brick
stitch and will include a kit with various bead sizes to make the samples
with.
The cost of the class is $25 and the kit fee is $10. All students who
complete the class will receive a $5 gift certificate towards the teaching
fee of any one of Anne's future classes.
Those wishing to take the class should sign up at Imagine and bring with you
to the class your scissors, size 11 or 12 beading needles, nymo thread, and
a pencil or pen and writing pad. If you have any questions you'd like to
ask, feel free to jot them down and have them ready for the class.
